Easy No-Roll Crackers

Every holiday I fantasize about making my own crackers for a lovely cheese and cracker platter. Maybe this is the year I will finally do it. I searched on TFL for recipes and found lots of SD discard recipes and whole grain recipes but they were all roll out crackers. I wanted something easier.

Years ago, I viewed a youtube made by an eccentric lady that made whole grain & seed crackers from a very liquid mix of whole grain flour, black sesame seeds, water and salt. A LOT of water. Her batter was soupy and poured onto a silpat and tilted to spread the batter very thin. Then she baked for 10 min at which point the batter was thicker. She scored it with her spatula into squares and then continued to bake for 30 min. After that she turned the oven off and let them sit for 30 min. Easy Peasy.

I found the video and thought I'd share it HERE with you.

Here is an Amazon link for her BOOK .

And she even has an eclectic website HERE

Enjoy and post back if you make either these crackers or any others.

It does look easy! She likes using a grain mill too and I think I will try getting a cracker with the ground corn in it for the new and improved  Fritos!

Thanks for the link.
